1.Privacy
Put bluntly and simply, TutorialStart will not sell, or giveaway any of our users private information. We will also never reveal passwords, email, or any geo information. However, we do reserve the right to use information of our users to serve purpose within the site (hence newsletters, site statistics, etc). 2.Introduction
This is TutorialStart's end-user agreement, stating by which anyone visiting http://tutorialstart.com must abide by. These Terms may change at any time without notice, it is your responsibility to be sure of our guidelines and information before using our website. This Terms of Service was last updated July 5th, 2008.
3.Usage
a.Members are defined as anyone who has successfully signed up to our website, using a password, email, and name. Members are held accountable for the tutorials they submit, and every comment they make. If either are found to be innappropriate, bad language, unscrupulous, we reserve the right to take down these tutorials without notice and issue warning.
Members are too conduct themselves in good manner, this means to practice rated "G" behavior in language and activity. A member can be banned at anytime without warning. Tutorials submitted by a member can only be altered by an administrator. Also, threats can/may only be issued by an administrator.
Moderating members are allowed special privelidges to rate tutorials as being part of the TutorialStart team however, this privelidge comes with limitations. If a moderator is caught rating unfairly, he/she may lose their right to rate tutorials. If a moderator sells his rating votes anywhere and is found guilty of so, an administrator reserves the right to IP ban the moderating user indefinitely. A moderator may appeal his cause by using our contact form, that is, if he allowed onto the site.
b.Visitors are defined as anyone who is active on the tutorialstart.com tld. Visitors are not allowed to comment in any part of the site except news/updates (where allowed). If a visitor is found tampering with TutorialStart, an administrator reserves the right to IP ban the visitor without notice indefinitely.
4.Submission Criteria
Tutorials submitted to TutorialStart may only be submitted once per url. If a tutorial is submitted multiple times, the entire site may be blocked for a short period of time. However, the administrator reserves the right to block urls indefinitely. It will however, be unknown to the submitter whether or not his website is blocked or not. We expect all tutorial title's and description's to be in American or British English and as legible as possible. If tutorials are in another language, they may be deleted without notice. No tutorials submitted may have "swearing" words contained within them unless deemed appropriate to the theme of that tutorial.
5.Tutorial Usage Criteria
Tutorials used on TutorialStart are not property of TutorialStart but are property of their creator. However, we do reserve the right to cache submitted sites and save them for use when a website is down. We will only use our cached version of a submitted site when a site is down. If a tutorial webpage has been moved, it is the submitter or tutorial owner's responsibility to let us know via our contact form. We will not use our cached version of a website if the website is live unless we have not checked the site first (usually we check sites every 30minutes to 2hrs).
6.Conclusion
TutorialStart's indexing is a free service. We will never charge end-users to use our website's basic index/database. We do not charge for one to submit a tutorial unless it is for featured pruposes or priority standing within or database/index.
