How do I submit tutorials?
First, you need an account with us. If you don't have one already, you can create one here. Once you have an account, you should be able to add a tutorial our index. You can either click the item on the menu or click here. It is required that you have a 40X40 jpg thumbnail snapshot of your tutorial result, as well as a title, description.

What is the criteria for the rating system?
Very Good - Above 4.0
A tutorial that meets and exceeds the Good criteria but has an excellent tutorial outcome that most readers can achieve accurately. This tutorial displays good readability in steps and can be understood down to each needed step required to gain the exact or near exact outcome.

Good - Above 3.0
A tutorial that exceeds the Average criteria however has very clear steps and excellent readability.

Average - Above 2.0
This tutorial has fair conciseness and readability as well as easy to follow steps for the reader to analyze and figure out. This tutorial may lack the best possible result or outcome that could come from this tutorial.

Fair - Above 1.0
A tutorial that can be placed into the Poor criteria has better imagery and does instruct it's readers well on how to create the tutorial's result, however has poor outcome.

Poor - Above 0.0
This tutorial is not adequate most likely due to the tutorial lacking needed imagery or examples or concise explanation. Also, the tutorial does not adequately instruct it's readers on the desired result or possibly the tutorial's result is below standard.

How do I advertise?
To purchase advertising, click here. When done purchasing, our system will forward you to our contact page where you can send us all needed information to place your ad up. Once we recieve a message from you, we will place your ad up!

If I want to become a partner or affiliate, how can I do so?
Apply for affiliation or partnership by going to our contact page and selecting affiliation from our dropdown menu.

How often is the index updated?
We usually try to update our index with new tutorials on the hour, every hour. If there are no new tutorials to update the system with, there will be no tutorials added to the index.

Are all of my tutorials saved?
Yes, we save all tutorials for future reference or to keep/deny multiple submissions

How long will it take for my tutorial to be approved?
Usually 24-25 hours. If you don't see your tutorial live by that time, it was most likely rejected.

How do I know if my tutorial has been rejected?
If your tutorial is not added within 24-25 hours, then most likely it was rejected.

I found a problem/bug on the site. How can I report it?

How do I login?
Simple, on every page, there is a bar below the main menu, you can use this prompt to sign in.

Are video tutorials accepted on TutorialStart?
Yes they are but may be deleted without notice if the tutorials are found down or not working. Most of the time video tutorials can't be cached correctly, therefore they may be deleted from our index if found to be down at any time.

Do you host tutorials?
Not at this time, sorry.

Not at this time, sorry.

When I purchase advertising space on your site, is it instant?
It isn't, however we will place your ad up within 24hrs of purchase. It also depends how fast your ad information is sent to us as well.
